So keys were to be given to us at 5 today. Got there to see their stuff still all over the place. Sat on the curb waiting for 2 hrs waiting for their agent to come, which she never did. She stopped answering her phone after a while. What now? This has been a huge nightmare!

Thanks for all the info/advice. I hope it doesn’t turn into the worst case scenarios mentioned here.

The sellers get the keys to their new place a few days after COE. It is a royal pain for us if they don’t move out b/c we have made arrangements for flooring to get done. There’s also a complicated financial strain if we ourselves delay moving. As much as we don’t want to be jerks about it, I don’t feel it’s right for them to throw this on us so late in escrow.
