HUD calculates the rents based on the average rents in the region. The section 8 programs usually have a waiting list and the tenants are often a little careful about their conduct because they can’t afford to get kicked out of the program.

BugsParticipantI think that the deals that no look like the exception will soon look like the rule. I think more people will soon have more options. I think before this is over almost everyone who has decent credit and some downpayment will have a fair shot at buying. Within reason, of course.
