There’s a good Youtube demonstrating the microwave area denial system. Fire hoses use to perform the same role, but obviously were not good enough since they didn’t require an overpriced defense contract and glitzy high tech doo-dads.
I will be LMAO when someone figures out a $0.01 defense to the microwave system, like taping aluminum foil or some sort of mesh to the inside of your shirt.

alarmclockParticipantIf we are just going to give the banks money anyway, why not build new long distance power transmission lines (cost=$200B) and just give the banks equity stakes in said company. Plumps up the balance sheet just as good as cash, given that they aren’t lending the cash.
These transmission lines would presumably allow development of the central wind fields and southwest solar fields.
BTW I am still waiting for some environmentalist to show a linkage between windmills > reduced wind speed > some environmental catastrophe (clouds fall out of the sky, or something)

alarmclockParticipant“Ah, yes, I see problem,” said the, ahem, doctor. “Your body infested with AIDS virus.” He then continued, “I have here syringe full of even more AIDS virus. I inject you, this fix problem.” At that point, I began to wonder what his definition of fix really was.
