thanks sd, I’ll try it, I do like HUGE wines. I am so envious, a Donovan’s steak and a bottle of Carnival, what could be better? Throw in the redhead from MadMen and that is what I’m fairly certain I’d pick for my wish when I find the magic lamp with the genie.
I have never gotten into food pairings because wine is food. I’ve had red wine with every type of food, tastes fine to me. Tobacco pairings, now that is something I can get behind. Maduro wrapper cigar goes well with a ruby vintage port, lighter cigars go with a tawney port, and skoal goes with cab, of course.

What could be better than a Donovan’s steak and a bottle of Carnival? How about an Austrailian Lobster Tail entree as the appetizer.

It’s such a boutique winery that I’m not going to find it at any big retailers so point me in the right direction. It does appear on numerous restaraunt wine lists at just over $20 a glass.
