March 15, 2008 at 12:21 PM #170150AnonymousGuestSelecting another minority (women, asian, hispanic etc) will probably hurt his changes, which is why I don’t think a Obama/Hillary ticket would work.
There is no way in the world that Obama would select Hillary as a running mate, and he shouldn’t. Yes, selecting another minority would definitely hurt his chances, and what does that say for our country?
Yes, Obama is smart. He has to distance himself from this, because he knows race can’t be a factor in his campaign for the presidency. You are right, he has to be perceived as someone who is unifying the people. He’s handling himself with a great deal of grace. He has to, the vultures aren’t going to let up.
And yes, the EC gave us Bush. Isn’t this a great system we have? (sarcasm)I’m sure some of you will debate this.
