I think people are reacting to the “CA people are idiots” attitude going on in this thread. We live here, we like it, and it is offensive to make such holier than thou comments. Now, who has the attitude? I have heard many people that are relative newcomers out here, constantly complaining, and stating how much “better it is” in Chicago, Texas, etc. What is that? They are better than us somehow? It is just plain rude.
Do you go to a party and then tell the hostess you don’t like the refreshments? Or, tell her the house is ugly? No, you just keep your mouth shut. It’s all about manners.

haha… you’re right. I’ve not driven to Cherry Hill yet, but I will. I’m in Philly again this weekend.
Times change, sdrealtor. Cities change.
Back in 1997 nobody wanted to live in Downtown SD. In fact, Downtown SD is a creation of the last 10 years and most owners are upside down.
My bro went to UPenn and he has the recollection of the past. But it’s not the same today.
If we have an energy crisis, the suburban sprawl that San Diego is will wither away. I’m hedging my bets.
