I’m a conservative. I have a post-graduate degree in the Arts (with honors from a big northeastern college.
I don’t believe in the god of the Christians, Jews or Muslims.
I’m pro-choice.
I’m pro-stem cell research.
I want smaller government.
I want fewer, and lower taxes.
I want people to take responsibility for their actions.
I want the government off my back.
I don’t give a crap about prayer in the schools.
There’s no such thing as gay marriage or flying pigs.
Gays can, however, form a civil union. Pigs can take a plane.
I believe if you want more roaches, put food out for them.
If you want more poor, ignorant people in the world, cater to their every whim and need, while punishing those who are smart and hard-working. You’ll get more of one, and less of the other.
If you want more companies making crappier and crappier products (GM, Ford etc…) bail them out. Often.Where’s the politician that supports MY ideals?
Brutus
There isn’t one because you’re selfish. You don’t want to pay taxes, but what happens then to the mentally ill who cannot take care of themselves? How do we get a national health care system so everybody can have coverage? With the majority of republicans it’s always about “me, me, me” and protecting their pocketbooks. Not cool.
I believe that there are going to be some very disappointed black voters in a couple of years. I’m a conservative.
Think about it. Do you really think the McCain/Palin team could have done a better job?

I doubt Mcain would have done a MUCH better job, but I’m sure he would have done a somewhat better job. At least he would have kept us safe from more 9/11’s.I am selfish. I intend to stay that way. If the government wasn’t already doling out welfare to the mentally ill and big corporations alike, I might have an incentive to act on my desire to make the world a better place. But with the government (state and Fed) making BAD decisions with my (and everyone ‘s) money, why should I give one red cent to charity? I would rather give it to my daughter or my wife or my brothers and their children.
Every day we hear about a politician, Republican or Demacommie caught with their hand in the till. And you know as well as I that we only get to see the tip of the iceberg. And you want to give these people MORE money? That’s like giving gang-bangers more guns and then acting surprised when they shoot someone.
Now Barack Obamarx wants to increase taxes! When black people discover that the government has gotten richer but their neighborhood is still suffering drive-by shootings and drug deals as the economy nose dives further, they are going to be pissed. And they won’t be able to blame the Republicans, either.I cannot FRICKIN’ WAIT!
I get sexually aroused just thinking about it!November 8, 2008 at 7:11 PM #302001AnonymousGuest

I’m a conservative. I have a post-graduate degree in the Arts (with honors from a big northeastern college.

I agree with you, but I also wonder that if all of a sudden nobody had to pay any taxes, what percentage of them would take the money saved on taxes and contribute to charity? Not asking if they should, but if they would. But I suppose that this is probably a question better served on a sociology forum.
