I wanted to get in the mind of the schemers of the Real Estate world, the very people who turned real estate into a market not unlike the stock market, where you buy a house low and sell high just like a stock 4-6 years later.

The same scammers who are as responsible as the liar buyers in decimating the only asset I really had – my house.

I figured I better start learning how these schemers operate, so at least next time I won’t be such a fool.

I would say 80%+ of the piggs on this board fall into the category of schemers IMO.

i kinda like most people on this board, paramount. but it is true that one answer to the question “where did all the money go?” is people who sold at the peak (and bought much lower). and there are quite a few of those here.

I love these boards. Heard about it on CL, and lurked for awhile, a bit intimidated by some of the complex postings. I already owned a house, but have always monitored the housing market.

What I found here, was a whole bunch of smart folks, and mostly critical thinkers, even when their thoughts and ideas differ. People that seemed to be able to discern between what is fed to us by media and what is actually true.

I was on here about a year, and ended up quite accidentally meeting my BF. Yeah! Who would have thought?
