i’d suggest local.
call up or check local campaigns, you get to
know a council member or a city office holder, she
can easily get an internship while still in high school and they move up, she will be tracking
their career. Now if she wants to get ideological, there
are some very right wing nutjobs like Bachmann and
iott or Angle. If she wants to go left,
she should look at phone banking for
Grayson or Grijalva or look up the phone bank
cards on Organizing for America or ActBlue.Grayson has an army of college kids out there
knocking doors and making calls. The Grayson
campaign and grijalva campaign are looking for
phone bank volunteers.October 16, 2010 at 6:08 PM #618951patbParticipanti’d suggest local.

This will allow her to stay abreast of local events as well as important political issues.
It was through an email alert that I recently learned of a calling party to help defeat proposition 23. During the hour that I participated, I was able to convince 7 people to vote against prop 23. Most people I talked to were already against it, but it was very satisfying to be able to convince 7 undecided voters to vote against it.
