The whole thing is a joke. America is done for. When the government is there to ‘solve’ all of our problems for us when we make mistakes, eventually two things happen, we become weak and stupid. Wall Street will continue playing their silly little games, but even they’re in trouble they have no cash. They’ll figure out a way to get out of their bind, after all they have access to the treasury. I personally probably gave them a few hundred dollars this year. There’s still money to be made here, but be ready to jump ship at a moments notice. Remember the constitution worked for a decade or two and has been in decline ever since. Its too utopian. Forget about bringing it back we’re becoming fat, corrupt and feeble. Watch out folks its a big world out there and there are many new kids on the block who know how to balance their books. They’re educated and they know everything about us and we know nothing about them. Then again why should we care “We’re American dangit, a beacon of hope! We shine so bright they can see us from Pluto.”

September 8, 2008 at 11:55 PM #268347bob007Participantgovt does not have the money to bailout everyone. this is to prevent a complete collapse of the real estate market. i would love to see a collapse. But things can get out of hand.

Even if this single bailout provides stability for now, we all realize several more institutions are in line for the chopping block.
Imagine if these bailouts succeed and stabilize the US markets, fine, good, great…
Now who is going to fix all of the markets around the world? The real estate bubble is not isolated or contained to the US. Are the gov’s of those markets going to bailout their financials with the same success?
