“…members of Congress are about to hear a lot from their voters on the government takeover of health care, new energy taxes, the failed stimulus, record deficits, and growing joblessness.” This is what needs to happen. Light ’em up!

July 23, 2009 at 7:36 AM #436298socratttParticipantI am not so sure our vote makes any difference anymore. This article is eye opening and when I read it I had to make sure all of you had the chance to do so as well. I think America and the media have brainwashed our citizens into thinking that they are making the best decisions for the people. That is obviously not true anymore.
I could probably count on one hand how many people I know that would actually stand up and fight against the government’s decisions. That is pretty pathetic!! If anyone was ever curious how decisions were made this article sure makes it apparent!!! It makes me sick to my stomach how greed can destroy such an incredible country!!

Is that like saying if Ford can get investors to buy 2.8 Billion of their stock they can call that a profit. If that is the case then I think it is obvious that the stock market is just a pyramid scheme. How can you make a profit without selling product or services, creative accounting I guess. I’m not anti Ford, I own a nice F-150, and would even recommend buying their stock, it just upsets me when I hear recovery buzz words when in fact the economy is crumbling.
