I believe that I covered that in my last post, Newt. However, it would appear from your most recent missive that you don’t know anything about “the tea party”, either, as you neglected to share with us your incomparable wisdom on the subject.

By the way, what, precisely, constitutes a “new very likely Senator”? Are you sure you’re American? To be honest, you’re not terribly well versed in the English language.

And, jeez, Newt, can you come up with some new “insulting” words and phrases? It’s a given that you’re too much of a chickenshit to do anything besides hit and run on this board, but your ceaseless use of “you liberal swine”, and other stock phrases straight out of the “Glenn Beck Big Fat Conspiracy Playbook” is booooooorrrrrrring. But, come to think about it, just what I’d expect from you. After all, you were the one who bravely exposed the myth of the Gulf Coast oil spill with your scientific proof in the form of “facts” from a high school textbook.

I sincerely hope that you are not representative of any group that has or will have a significant effect on the future of this great nation. You’re not very intelligent or well-educated, you are uninformed, but highly opinionated with views you are incapable of defending, live by stereotypes, are incapable of a cogent, reasoned argument, and are too frightened to do anything but drop what you laughably consider to be devastating insults, and then run away. I am as far from a modern liberal as anyone on this site, and his post just makes me cringe. By the way I say that as an Evangelical personally who is more of a live and let live kind of guy Allen. Maybe I am not really an evangie, I just prefer churches with good music, its uplifting and more spiritual for me but I don’t expect the whole world to live by my code. (By the way in my late teen/early 20’s experimentation with all things lib I loved listening and reading Daniel Patrick Moynihan).

I am too lazy to open another window but during the elections there was a conservative that posted all over O-T ad nauseum and didn’t seem to enter into other forums. Cardiff: My intent was not to insult your religious beliefs, Cardiff, but to take those ultra-right evangelicals who have hijacked the GOP to task. Combined with “purity tests”, and the rise of the Tea Party, we’re now confronted with a Republican Party that has abandoned its ideological roots and is pandering for votes in the most pathetic ways possible.

Newto represents everything that is wrong with the Right in the same way that IForget and danielwen represent everything that is wrong with the Left.

We’re a polarized country, with nobody in the middle. To hear thoughtful, reasoned moderate pols from both parties being demonized for their beliefs is alarming.

As far as Newto’s absence: He’s probably off setting fire to the Reichstag.
