Allan I would call this sloppy sunday… luckily this is my thread so I am okay with trouncing on it. chargers d looked like it did the first few weeks of the season…. soft soft soft…your raiders managed to come from ahead to blow the kc game…
SDR: Don’t get me started on the Raiders. Well, other than to say they should start Gradkowski (in spite of that late pick).
I have to respectfully disagree with you about the Chargers. They are starting to find ways to win and they are beating quality teams. In spite of their woes, neither the Eggles nor the G-men are bad teams. The Chargers D showed some serious grit in their own red zone and limited Philly to FGs. How about LT? Good to see him get on track, for at least a game anyway. Think about a month ago: Bolts are 2 – 3 and Broncs are 5 – 0. Now they’re both at 6 – 3 and the West is up for grabs. Not a Chargers fan, but if they keep playing like this, look out.
Lastly: The Bengals! Dude, who’d a thunk it?

November 15, 2009 at 7:42 PM #483199SD RealtorParticipantPem I haven’t given up on it totally… I am in sort of an appeasement process. My wife is pretty dead set on moving out of state within a year. She has just had it with CA. One thing that is important to her is land…even somewhere with a rural feel to it but not far from driving to town. Poway has alot of that. Sunrise Canyon is a neat little spot with a mix of homes. It is not super high end but has some cool spots and most of the properties in there are horse properties. The one we looked at today was okay but to small… Cool though that the neighbor had goats/roosters/horses… peacocks walking around in the street as well. The kids loved it.
So not really sure where we will end up. Over the past few years the offers I made have been in Scripps and I am very much kicking myself for not following through with the home on Pudregal that we were in escrow with in summer of 08… Have looked in Encinitas as well but again nothing of quality in the price range I am looking at. Some cool spots in Poway but all in the mid 800s and up and I am not in a position to buy into that range right now.

November 15, 2009 at 7:47 PM #483204SD RealtorParticipantAllan yep on the Bengals… I wonder what the line was in August for them to win the North.. darn…they are scary… bolts need to pile some wins up because I am not thrilled about the bengals game and even the titans are showing a pulse.
Yes the goal line stand was nice. They even did look a little less porous against the running game. This was one of those games to me that they you knew they would win but instead of stepping on phillys throat, they just kind of whimpy’d thier way to a win. No pass rush, and the eagles receivers were consistenly wide open in what could only be described as a soft as sh-t zone… the good thing was that okay nothing deep happened. Also I am liking Siler at LB as well… Jeez Allan they let philly get to the 30 yard line on that last play…
a win is a win though so I will take it.
