We lived in that neighborhood, and you MUST do your homework before even thinking of buying that house. The developer owns almost all of the homes on that street. At least 7 are currently vacant so they can try to repair the major damage to those homes. The listed house also has many, many issues and will require extensive repairs to the foundation not to mention what must be done to stabilize the hill. It is one of those classic things…if it looks too good to be true. Buyer beware! If you consider going forward, get a sound structural engineering consult, not a simple property inspection. Good LUck!

For that kind of money, I’d want a helluva a lot more than a big detached condo on a postage stamp in HOA purgatory.
