    And just to be clear, there is some potential problem with showing up with an investor buyer and handling a short sale negotiation for a seller (especially if licensing is screwed up).

    But its not illegal.

    Its just double-ending.

    I don’t do it but lots of agents do and have done so throughout history.

    Its the bank’s responsibility to make sure they are not getting screwed.

    But good luck getting them to be as diligent as they should.

    So Realtors are the overpaid equivalent of a Radio show host who says “The next caller to dial 570-1007 is the winner.” You guys are jokers.

    I’m in the wrong business if this is the case.

    Even the slimiest of user car salesmen could learn a thing or two from a realtor.

    Unfortunately for the unsuspecting the term realtor affords (via marketing) used house salesmen and women a low level of dignity and legitimacy which even at that level isn’t deserved IMO.

    All I have to say, it’s game on. Lesson learned… Only a dumb @ss would drop hundreds of thousands of dollars with out knowing the rules of the game.
