So just a quick anecdote while sdr cusses at me (or gets tipsy and hits on me):

I am in Madrid in a cybercafe.

Outside is the center of most of madrid´s prostitution which has been semi legalized.

Mostly eastern european girls who speak spanish like some horrible Red Dawn impression.

I have a couple of observations:

It is weird to have hookers standing outside of a police station and having the cops check them out

It is uncomfortable to be on your cell talking to a San Diego real estate atty when a woman walks up and says in heavily accented english ¨hey honey stop to talk, lets go fuck¨.

It is weird to be walking with your 10 month old and have a pimp come up and start making googly faces at him and have your baby laugh back and clap.

It is really striking how none of the hookers here look like junkies or tweakers. (Although, I did not get that close a look.)
