I was listening to John and Ken today — they followed the Scott Peterson trial extensively (convicted in 2004). There’s a new book out by one of his friends who claims that Peterson confessed to her. He apparently cheated on her from Day 1 and wanted to get rid of her clinging self. So he strangled her. I came home and Googled for more info. Among my results: Someone bought the Peterson home in 2005 for $390,000 and was foreclosed upon. Recently sold for $280,000. I know the Central Valley is suffering mightily in this market. I’m wondering if it would have sold for even less if not for the notoriety. It’s creepy…he did the deed in that home.
