ParticipantI’ll add that people in the Inland Empire dont eat, wear clothes, get sick, drive cars, have legal issues, save money, break laws, start fires or have fun so there arent any jobs there for retail stores workers, restaurant workers, supermarket workers, mecahincs, car salesman, gas station attendants, doctors, nurses, heath care workers, lawyers, bankers, cpa’s, stockbrokers, casino workers, cops, fireman, strippers or bar tenders.

ParticipantMy coworker moved to TV in ’96 at the last downturn from a house in central Mira Mesa. He said it was to get in a much quieter, safer neighborhood– that gangbangers were running around his MM neighborhood having gunbattles; police chases in his cul-de-sac, etc. He got into Temecula at a wickedly good price, but has had the hellish commute ever since and now I am hearing hints that neighborhoods in Temecula may be heading downhill too (I’m not sure if that’s true).
