ParticipantWow, this has turned into quite the car thread. Ok, having owned Benzes and Bimmers, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Jaguar, and now Audi’s, my ulimate driving machine, in how I define it is in order, from the cars I have owned:
01 W208 Mercedes CLK55
My RS4
E39 BMW M5
S54 M RoadsterMy favorite SUV (comparing it to other I have had including A Hummer H2 and an ML320) is Audi Q7.
If you want a motorcyle thread, anything Yamaha, especially an R6 and R1. I also have a beautiful ’01 BMW R1200C from that bond movie, a rolling work of art IMHO I will never part with and with 0.9% financing, I loved paying it down to zero over the years.

GuestJesus christ you guys throw a lot of money away on overpriced cars. Talk about bad investments. At least houses historically go up in value, autos are GUARANTEED to depreciate big time.

ParticipantHow can you compare the POS camry for 20K with the ultimate car, the 3,5,7 series. It starts at nearly 40K. Why would you live in Chula Vista when you can live in Carmel Valley?
As for the “realtors”, they should just call them used home salesman, then this poster wouldnt get confused and liken them to ahem,.. real professionals, CPAs and uh, uh, lawywers.
