Oh, come now. How is this different from commercials you see that tout
BMW: "the ultimate driving machine", all the weight-loss ads touting "I lost 100+ lbs" when the before after pcitures are clearly two different people, or those rich dad/poor dad "self improvement seminars" touted by robert k or donald trump.
It's about personal responsibility, due diligence, and buyer beware, which appears to be lacking in america these days. Granted those walkin realtors are really annoying, no one's holding you at gunpoint to buy a house, and if you didn't want to talk to a complete stranger, you shouldn't have opened the door to random marketers.
As far as spitting in his face, yeah that would have worked real well. You would have supplemented his income as well as probably some personal injury attorney for god knows what. We do live in sue happy CA. Not to mention it's considered assault/battery in some areas, and since you would have done this on someone considered a minority, it could have been interpreted as a hate crime.
And pssss….haven't you heard, carmel valley is holding value. </sarcasm>

March 5, 2008 at 2:38 PM #164508RaybyrnesParticipantThe market has definitely flattened out
This is a relative statement. I think FLU had it right. Why would it not be up to you to do a little dilgence to see if the market had actually flattend out.
As for spitting in his face. Again FLU had it right. What would you have proven. If you disagree with someone or believe somthing that is contrary to your belief than you can simply walk away or ask that they not come back.
The other thing you can do is ask for empiracle evidence that supports his statement.
At some point the market is going to have flattened out and more than likely a realator is going to tell you it. How are you going to recognise it at that point in time?

March 5, 2008 at 2:48 PM #164523BugsParticipantBy knowing that it’s flattening out 6 months before it happens as a result of doing your own research.
Watch listings vs. sales. It ain’t rocket science.
