I say buy what you want, where you want and enjoy it. We bought a bigger house in the early 90’s because we outgrew the one we were in and decided we did not want to keep selling and moving up. A lot of people said we would be house poor and we did not need that big a house, but we were happy. We were able to afford it and we have lived here ever since. Buy what makes you happy,
