yes, getting back to me, the thought of being a landlord makes me shiver and sweat. the slightest problem on my own place gets me peeved. however, I did purchase and install a complete bathroom sink for this refi. it wasn’t exactly very hard, but it was on a tight timeline, and i did actually do it. so, that was pretty empowering. my squatting came in handy hoisting the sink about. light as a feather.
i kinda feel like I did buy a house and an investment property, as this place cost about twice as much as I wanted to pay.
blogstar, i am slightly envious of you for having the tenacity and guts to buy a place for a rental. i can see that it kinda makes sense, esp. a couple years ago. just not for me. ever…the minor hassles of life are just too much for me… i can’t deal…gak…i get irritated thinking about the slightest problems…
