I agree w/jstoesz. I’d take the Point Loma house over most places in Carmel Valley. I emailed that listing to a friend b/c I was so surprised at the price. It does say cash only and that makes me think perhaps it would be difficult to get a loan, as in there could be foundation problems. If the foundation isn’t an issue, then I think it’s one heck of a deal, but I would think it would get bid higher.

January 4, 2011 at 10:53 PM #647987anParticipantThose who think this house is charming, can you please explain to me what’s charming about this house?
With regards to jstoesz statement of, being all IKEA’d out and take the charm out of this house, if charm can be removed, wouldn’t that also mean it can be put in?

Since the listing says the house “needs everything,” I’m guessing it could be a pretty expensive fix? Either way, that is definitely a fantastic price!
Thanks for keeping us all posted on the Point Loma deals, jp. π
