. . . Sooooo much better than TruckNutz.
LOL, eaves, I just looked up TruckNutz!!
My kid saw that thing hanging from a tow hitch a few weeks ago stopped in front of us at a stoplight and she pointed at it and burst out laughing and said, “Look mom, on the back of that truck, that is so g@y!”
I laughed too at the time but didn’t know what they were . . . lol.
BG, didn’t you say that you were a military spouse for many years? Do you mean to tell me that you managed to hold onto a set of clackers through all those moves? . . . Hmmm, a lot of the craziness I’m seeing in members of my generation these days can probably be traced to these things (Clacker-induced TBI).
We didn’t transfer out of SD county, just did the ship-deployment thing every few years instead.
I have a very large vinyl bag from my youth I carried with me every time I moved that I didn’t actually open until about 3-4 yrs ago. It was like a Pandora’s box in there . . . going wa-a-a-a-a-y back in time. Included were hundreds of letters from friends, relatives and pen pals, old autographs from recording artists and paraphernalia from fan clubs that I belonged to and even a couple of old “Tiger Beat” magazines!
I don’t have anymore 78’s, 45’s or 33 LP vinyl. Sold it all in garage sales or gave it away over time :={

I *love* it!! “Tops 90 mph” Now that’s what I call absolutely brilliant ad copy!
Yeah, BG, I was not only having more fun, but also definitely moving faster than you were.
But then again, you had other things to lure guys your way……and I quote: “omg, dittos . . . no back pockets – skin tight with a round seam over the butt or hash-marked hips. I had a both a teal and a purple pair, with matching see-thru plastic belts. This was the mid-seventies, I think. And I had a white rabbit fur/vinyl jacket with square silver chain-fasteners to wear with them and matching pull-on stretch white patent knee boots. ”
The evidence is here, kept safe in the archives for posterity:
