true, I guess one could better their odds. still, i know in recent past, blood tests for herpes were less than accurate. there are dormant viruses. there is incubation periods. i’m not questioning your strategy. It’s just interesting to me how people address the issue. i got herpes very young, was in denial a while, then practiced complete honesty with varying results. as you age, becomes less of an issue, barely get it anymore. but i kind of think of it as agrowth experience, wouldn’t be the same person without that…not that your strategy or thoughts are wrong….just thinking out loud about the nature of intimacy…i remember a woman once who i disclosed to, she broke upw ith me…much later we met again, she was very sad she’d broken up, she was upset and wanted me to know how much in retrospect my honesty had touched her after the fact. just a thought t o keep in mind in case you ever catch anything….
