svelteParticipantI wonder if your “whiteness” will rub off on my children?
Are you refering to Alex_Angel? When did that person say they were white/caucasian? Couldn’t they be Hispanic, Black, or even Asian? Does that show a prejudice on your part?
Just wondering out loud.

ParticipantThe only bad thing about the area are the annoying jets and helicopters that fly over the area. I guess they are looking for Bin Laden in rubber dingy in the pacific. International aggression spending needs to be cut, and Miramar decommissioned, it's in the wrong place.
I think some of those helicopters my be patrol copters after the recently one of the banks in the Torrey Hills mall new Vons got held up. Some of the copters are too small and flying too low to be military. Those copters are looking for something on the ground.

And if you read some of the Torrey Hills HOA newsletter, there's been a ramp-up in burglaries around CV, supposedly done by "asian gangs", whatever the hell that means. I've heard of these gangs in Mira Mesa, but it seems like a few strands are started to venture out into other areas. This isn't really a surprise, since when the economy turns sour, it's all expected. But, residents are starting to complain, and Police are starting to crack down and trying beat the back out of the area.
