I went to Mor a while ago and was surprised how expensive their stuff was. I was expecting it to be slightly more than IKEA but it was definitely a fair amount more.[/quote]Are you sure you didn’t go there when it was called Les furniture for more?
Now that it’s called Mor furniture for less, the deals are much better. π

June 12, 2010 at 3:35 PM #563489AnonymousGuestI’ve shopped at 1 Stop Furniture (http://www.furniturestoresandiego.com) and I think that they have the nicest looking slash lowest priced furniture in San Diego. You can’t buy anything from their site but you can see what they have.

June 13, 2010 at 10:52 AM #563900ShadowfaxParticipantMay not be for everyone, but here is my two cents: We have a number of items from Jeromes and think you just have to be selective in what you buy. They have medium to good quality stuff and you can get sets for a good price. We have kids so it is likely we will replace certain pieces after 10 years or so, but I think what we have will last. Unlike Mor, the prices are decent and they actually deliver the furniture in a reasonable amount of time. I heard many stories of people buying stuff at Mor but delivery was well past their 2 week delivery time. All our Jeromes furniture was delivered within 2 days, usually sooner.
Recently needed a simple, low end piece for our kid and went the particle board route at Target. Not willing to invest bucks in something that may be trashed and will last them until they want something nice.
