ParticipantAmen Surveyor. It will be the WPA of this century. FDR did not save the economy. It was saved by WWII. I am not advocating continued warfare. I would like to see a stimulus package aimed at small businesses, the backbone of this Republic.

I just find it ironic that for a blog/site that advocates and has practitioners of good financial management, there are still many who believe that giving the government more money will somehow solve many problems.
I mean, this is the same group that rails against bailouts and handouts to FBs (which is basically the gov’t). Nobody here would give more money to anybody who has a history of badly spending money, and yet many still want the government to get more money. Astonishing.

Participantsurveyor, I totally agree. It’s very ironic. I guess it’s OK for the government to give handouts when they receive a portion of it, but it’s a big no-no if they have to pay for the hand out w/out getting any.
