I knew a guy bought a Marshall amp from a music store
was told it was dead. He bought it for scrap.
he was hunting for schematics so he could fix it,
and wanted my multimeter.
I gave him a power cord and told him to plug it in.
I said “Watch it power up”. it promptly did.
I told him the gear heads who work at music shops
probably had a blown fuse.
