i am very concerned with following rules and norms and never lying or even exaggerating.
i think this may be dumb.
why not lie in situations it will help you? i cant remember the arguments against just saying anything to get your way…
Let me see if I understand this correctly:
You’re saying that Trump made claims while he was running for political office – that may never come to fruition?
I’ve never heard of this happening before. You? I may need to find a safe place.
never heard a politician make claims and promises quite as direct bold unilateral and with such promised speed.
he and he alone is capable.
the contract is in writing…https://www.donaldjtrump.com/contract/
but in particular, im talking about draining the swamp. talk about shamelessly ppivoting on a dime. but of course. why not.
it was all a big con. beautifully done.
i admire the cojones. i need to grow a pair, myself.
im hoping and thinking maybe he does shut down these h1b visas esp. for engineers as a showpiece of hiw antiimmigrant he is. easier than deportations. helps my kid, maybe?
day ONE is gonna be busy, what with wall construction, term limits on congress, etc.

So you would rather he stick to all the crap he promised before getting elected? That seems odd coming from you, or most anyone on this site for that matter. I thought you would be happier about him being a bit more moderate. He has been a Democrat much longer than a Republican. Not surprising at all.
Maybe do a bit of research and see which politicians in the past have made promises that never saw the light of day once they got elected. It’s par for the course.

never in thr history of american politics, have promises this specific placed in writing in a signed contract online with a one day timeline. you are Wrong. and sad. and im sad too. and sometimes wrong.
i want h1b visas stopped on DAY ONE. or im suing to enfor e that unenforceable contract.
although, could a vote be considered consideration?
i guess the only thing im irritated about is i thought there was a small chance he actually was certifiable. gyess itll be just usual nonsense.

Looks like the list of Supreme Court justices under consideration don’t share your love of the coasts. They are listed in an NYT article entitled “Ivy League? Out. The Heartland? In.” http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/15/us/politics/trump-supreme-court-justices.html
That’s ok. I’m would happily let the Supreme Court send social issues back to the states, that is the red states. Let them have what they want. Who are we to decide what’s good for them.
So you must think Roe v. Wade was wrong (?).

R v W was right but people don’t appreciate it. And in the red states conservatives think they are being imposed from outside, and liberals who enjoy freedoms become complacent. So let them fight at the state level for what they want. Sweat blood and tears make it all worth more.

To be fair, he did give himself 100 days on most of them. So it will all be done before May.
No these aren’t the promises that Obama made, or Bush or Clinton or the other Bush or Regain or … well any president ever. The scope and magnitude of his promises probably exceed the promises of every president combined in the past half-century … and he’s going to do it in 100 days.
Here’s Obama’s list: http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/promises/obameter/
They will make a similar list for Trump, his “kept” tally will be much lower than anyone in history and the whole fact-checking thing will be dismissed as MSM bias because Breitbart.
And it seems so many Americans won’t care that he keeps his word – they’re making excuses for him already in this thread.
Some girls just want to be told they’re pretty.

I am glad I am not cranky and there is a lot of popcorn.

My wife says this all the time. She does listen to NPR everyday but that’s it.
She also wonders if most pigg SO’s are not in some kind of support group for being related to pigg bloggers.November 16, 2016 at 10:03 AM #803743NotCrankyParticipant

It’s a beautiful day today. Don’t stay behind the blog too long. Otherwise it can get depressing.
