OK…a bit of a “who cares,” but I thought it was interesting.
Former Nightline host Ted Koppel is desperate to sell his home.
Koppel has been trying to sell his suburban Washington, DC home since 2005, when he originally listed it for $4.1 million.
And, now in 2008, he’s cut the value by more than half.
Last August, Koppel lowered the asking price to $2.3 million for the 9,000 square-foot, six bedroom home. It is located on 2.5 acres and includes an indoor pool, a maid’s quarters, a gym, a sauna, and even a horse barn.
His current asking price is now $1.94 million.
Koppel and his wife have moved into a larger home a few miles away but still have not been able to sell their former home.
