OT: Techie Software People…opportunities in Seattle

Just passing this info along that I’m getting..

If you’re a tech worker looking for work, there apparently positions open at a large publicly traded ecommerce company based in Seattle. I wont explicitly post the name here, since I don’t know how limited the recruiters are extending this info to, so I don’t want the recruiters to stop contacting me….You probably already know about them and even are their customer.

If you are interested ping me, I’ll send you the recruiters contact info via email so you can work with them directly. Looks like there are system engineering opportunities, development opportunities, algorithm opportunities, mgmt opportunities with hands on experience. Seems like your standard LAMP skillset and Java/C++/Perl/SQL/PHP (don’t think .NET is needed, but couldn’t hurt to ask).

I’m in no way affiliated to the recruiter nor the company nor do I get any cut if you get placed…I don’t have to know you and you don’t have to know me…Just give me your arbitrary email address and I’ll send you the recruiter’s info from my arbitrary email address. 🙂

….Just thought I’d share since I saw a few people out of work who were looking for opportunities. I have a few buddies that work there that says the company is pretty good to work with so I’ll have to take their word for it. Your mileage, though, may vary. Hiring is starting slightly to pick up again, based on recruiter activity.
