    Interesting article from the UT on how misinformed the public is on matters of their state budget.

    There is a quiz on the right sidebar of the article with answers on the bottom, take it before reading the article.

    Only 9% of people could guess the state’s largest source of income and it’s largest expenditure. Since it’s a multiple choice question wth only 4 questions, and only 9% can get the first two questions right, I’ve lost faith in my fellow man.

    I think you would be even more discouraged by the results if state legislators had to take the test.
