ParticipantAbsolutely. Not looking for a particular response. Just throwing it out there. The people that built those homes over 100 years ago, thought life was grand, and it was, then, for them. Yes, the paintings will be haunting. It is all really existential….

Yea. Exactly. That’s why a whole series of paintings of these homes would be so intriguing. At Least that’s what I though when I looked through them.
It is as you said/implied; there is a magnificent story to each of them. Stories of triumph, stories of meritocracy and stories of tragedy – all of the stories taking decades to unravel.
What they “were” vs. what they “are”. What a story.

Yea. Exactly. That’s why a whole series of paintings of these homes would be so intriguing. At Least that’s what I though when I looked through them.
