lol… you have to admit how Ironic it is that the tea party has adopted that sort of speak. I went to the Glenn Beck rally and, in an Orwellian fashion, he conflated the civil rights movement with the plight of the middle class white people today under the oppressive Obama regime. Ironically, he picked MLK day to do it. I don’t think that was a mistake .[/quote]The Tea Party adherents marching in rallies are crazies who conflate so many thing illogically.
I still can’t get over that they believe that the estate tax kills wholesome family farms. Those Tea Partiers will never pay a penny in estate taxes because they will never accumulate large enough estates.

January 14, 2011 at 10:01 AM #653604jstoeszParticipantI think you miss the point with the estate tax. The Tea Party’s ethic is anti-class warfare. It is getting back to a government that administers justice blindly, getting away from the crony capitalist model of both parties protecting their favored class/business. The estate tax to tea partiers feels like an unjust confiscatory policy, and their disagreement has nothing to do with who benefits from it. I think most people (tea partiers included) would say rich people are too rich…tea partiers and liberals diverge on what to do (or not do) about that…
