ParticipantI’m taking swimming lessons. In my yard from my kid. They were howling w laughter at mh feeble kicking this weekend. howling. I’m gonna swim by the end of summer but never as fast as that damn swim team adolescent boy.
I can kind of swim but my kid described it as more temporarily avoiding sinking.
I’m thinking we should open a swim school. Maybe deduct the pool?

Humiliating as that experience was, it’s not the end of it. Your wife and kids are gonna tell that story to every person who comes into your home and uses the pool. Every relative. Every friend. Every classmate. The pool man will get a real kick out of, too.
Then, once the kids are grown and gone, they’ll tell that story every time the family gathers for a special occasion. It’ll become a Christmas tradition.
Hey, I’m not saying it’s that great of a story. I just know from personal experience that it’s the type of story that lives on in infamy.

I gotta admit, scaredy, that the mental picture prompted by your son’s description is fairly amusing (I’m also impressed by the kid’s perception).

ParticipantI think some spammer revived this thread. But thanks anyway for all the suggestions.
I found a pretty good private skating instructor and said munchkin has been pretty happy with it for the past 6 months.
I’ll probably sign her up at noonan again this summer…
My tennis instructor also says he teaches toddlers, so I’ll try this out this summer.
Man, this stuff isn’t cheap. I guess it could be worse. It could be golf or cars or Xe training.
