My 2005 BMW X5 was t-boned on Turqoise St in Pacific Beach this week. 17 year old driving his mom’s minivan pulled out of a gas station without looking and BAM. I want that car to be totalled. The rear suspension, rear quarter panel, bumper, door, etc. ALL have to be replaced. The car will never be the same and if I ever try to sell it I will never get what a non-accident car will be worth. My advice to you is to push as hard as you can to have the car totalled and go buy something else. I will be replacing mine with another X5 if it does get totalled. Once you drive a German car nothing compares in driving feel…nothing.
