ParticipantBach is is still considered good music no? I just put war up there to try to help John solve his issues with “the black problem”.It is great music to me. I didn’t know who linkin park was but I like this,http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6gMLk7JEOEhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6gMLk7JEOEand probably others.I Probably like ministry and rage against the machine.Don’t play close attention to details of pop music much anymore.
Shall perish could only be appreciated by a Raider’fan. Maybe you listen to that when when WWF is on?Never liked heavy metal, never like gangsta rap and never liked punk.
Edit : I don’t know why the link won’t work, it’s linkin park Numb.

ParticipantRus: WWF? Nice. You’d probably be surprised, but I don’t watch WWF. I limit my TV violence to NCAA and NFL football, with the occasional Australian Rules Football match thrown in.
John has a “black” problem? That sounds serious.
Bach is definitely good. Somewhat surprised to hear you enjoy the mathematical, Germanic precision of Bach, but, hey, whatever gets your motor running. My favorite Bach is his cello piece. Good stuff.
You listen to any opera at all?

ParticipantNo WWF, you are an enigma.
I have an 8 cd collection called “Opera for the Truly Provincial”. It’s parked right next to my dust covered Wagner collection. Here is a sample form the set http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BgUnYzXU-Fo. Legitimate opera is kind of a stretch for me. One day maybe. How about you? Not seriously a connoisseur of classical music but obviously it has its merits.August 8, 2008 at 1:13 PM #254827NotCranky

ParticipantRus: Casca is the enigma.
I like Puccini fine, but the German stuff, especially Wagner, is too martial and ponderous for me. I had to sit through Wagner’s entire “Ring” series with my dad and uncle once, and that did it for me.
“Opera for the Truly Provincial”! I like it. Puts it right on the label, huh?
