Radioactive plume predicted to hit Southern California late Friday.
I’m just shakin’ over this:
“Health and nuclear experts emphasize that radiation in the plume will be diluted as it travels and, at worst, would have extremely minor health consequences in the United States, even if hints of it are ultimately detectable. In a similar way, radiation from the Chernobyl disaster in 1986 spread around the globe and reached the West Coast of the United States in 10 days, its levels measurable but minuscule.”
My interpretation: I’m more concerned about the effects on my health of that fat guy down the street farting up-wind from me.
But but but guys… This is what a lot of you folks wanted all along…You wanted more affordable housing alone the coastline at 50% off. Some of you folks think it’s ridiculous to be paying for that coastal property and wanted anything or everything such that you can get 50% off!!!!!
Good morning all you health-loving, die-fearing, organic people…
This week’s health menu choices are:
1. BP-oil baked seafood from the gulf…
2. Mercury-bathed seafood from China…
3. Organic, yet genetically modified, pesticide resistent fruits/veggies from Monsanto…Resold by Whole Foods.
4. Fresh, clean smog from L.A. laced with soot from China’s factory and isotopes from Japan.
5. Rat infested iodine/detox pills for #4, made one of the tainted factories from J&J….
(end sarcasm….Don’t think to hard….It will kill you or send you to the shrink.)

March 17, 2011 at 6:49 AM #677823ILoveRegulationParticipantAnd here comes the idiotbertarian brigade to crack wise. Shouldn’t you morons be congregating on the NPR thread bitching about the infinitesimal portion of the federal budget that organization receives?
You better be careful. One of your kind was inadvertently exposed to Mother Jones earlier in this thread and experienced a massive amount of cognitive dissonance after reading an article entirely based on facts. He hasn’t been seen since. You don’t want the same to happen to you.

Which of us is most likely thinking too hard? You with your irrational fear of NPR reporting too many facts and receiving a tiny, tiny, infinitesimal portion of the federal budget? Or me, who is justifiably concerned about receiving an above-average dose of radiation from Japan for months on end?
How about you drink a tall glass of STFU for once?
