I was in the military and the fact that he is former captors say he was rebellious and “manly” and that he didn’t get tortured are clearly in-congruent realities.You don’t usually get away with that even in your own country’s military if it is directed at the authorities.There are other indications that these people are almost definitely lying.
There was one thing I found interesting. The nurse questioned that McCain had not thanked the people who saved his life, even though he had been back 10 times since the war. This seems like something someone truly “great” in his shoes would want to do before he really does leave this planet.
I am not usually much for the notion of military Heroes(sorry Allan)but the man was most certainly tortured pretty badly as a result of crashing an airplane when and where he did.
