    The receptionist at my doctor claims she took out $30,000 from the bank because she didn’t trust them True or not it speaks to the fear and distrust that is out there concerning the financial system.

    Obviously we can’t predict the future, but at the same time it’s a good idea to diversify our risks, since every option has some level of risk.

    You should have money in a bank, but we need to make sure the bank is a strong one. Everyone should also have some cash on hand, at least $1,000 – $2,000 and some physical gold and silver, for emergencies and “worst case” scenarios. Of course, this does require a safe and some reasonable safety precautions…the biggest of which is not telling anyone about your stash.

    With this economy we need to concern ourselves more with return “OF” our money than return “ON” our money.

    Where is the legislation that says it is illegal to own a gun in CA? I have one and do not recall seeing anything that was passed saying I could not have it?

    Even if there was I would not give it up. Protect what is yours in any way you need to be it family or assets. Just deal with whatever comes of it afterwards.

    This level of paranoia though is the beginning of a bottom. It does seem awfully risky to have your life savings at home, it could be stolen when you are not there.

    Barry and the commies could decide to come take it from you the way they are heading. If it is beyond a certain amount they might deem it is more than what you really need, and somebody else more deserving might be able to use some of it.

    Where is the legislation that says it is illegal to own a gun in CA? I have one and do not recall seeing anything that was passed saying I could not have it?

    Even if there was I would not give it up. Protect what is yours in any way you need to be it family or assets. Just deal with whatever comes of it afterwards.
