You pay $30 for local phone alone? Wow, you should definitely check out Vonage. I’m paying ~$22/month after all taxes and fees. I get free national calls and $0.01/minutes to a lot of international calls.

I’m not sure if many if you guys really know this, but the best way to get better price for your current service is to threat them with cancellation. The retention department have a lot of options to offer you deals to keep you as a customer. So, don’t afraid to call. The nicer you are to the CS, the better the deal they’ll offer you.
