as, yes, I have the antenna and it works great (though not in San Diego).
Before the antenna, I was not picking up all the channels on the first floor. But now the whole house has TV reception.
The antenna is inside the house, upsairs. I’ve not yet had the time to climb on the roof to install the antenna.
Over the air HDTV is amazingly clear, better than cable. Cable signals are compressed.
You will not get ESPN over the air. That’s a cable channel. ESPN is normally part of the premium cable package because the cable companies know that most families want ESPN.

“this is the best, we bought this and cut cable. it works perfectly eventhough we put it in the attic.
small and powerful, picks up all available channels.
http://www.amazon.com/Antennas-Direct-DB…”
Emily, I am thinking to get this one you recommended. Does it work in SD? I live in Scripps Ranch area. How many and what are the channels you can get?

February 16, 2011 at 5:09 PM #667143CardiffBaseballParticipantSoon you’ll be able to get ESPN3 without cable. Depending on how you connect. I’ve heard that if you subscribe to Uverse Internet you can use that to get ESPN3 on your xbox for instance.
