I find it hard to believe that McCain knew about this beforehand, and decided it still would not be an imposition to the Repub ticket.
But to be fair, lets take the oxymorons out of our decision process, and put the Palin family first. It just sounds to me like two of her daughters (let alone the other three) will really be needing Mom’s attention during the next four years. They need her at home more than we need her in Washington, I believe.
How is she not going to feel distracted while in the White House?
Will she withdraw her candidacy?

This could sway some independents – Sarah Palin seems less and less qualified to be the VP.

@urbanrealtor: I would normally agree. I could care less how many kids she has or what her or her family’s sex lives are or how many beauty pageants she’s won or lost. That is irrelevant to the professional career. However, if she wants to play the “family values” card, and that card turns out to be a Joker, she has to play the hand she’s dealt.
Instead of “it’s not the crime, it’s the cover-up” in this case “it’s not the life of the candidate, it’s the hypocrisy of it.”
