I don’t see how these rants add to the discussion.
If this is not a one-sided political slapfest, then I don’t know what is.I’m tempted to answer tit for tat, but I won’t bother this time.

Biden the frat boy and Obama the pretender are afraid of warriors because in their hearts they are cowards and do not understand what war really is. Obama ran a brilliant campaign. His brilliance ended there. He is not a leader, an executive or even a competent manager. He should resign, not McChrystal.

In troubled times we need warriors, not wimps. Did you see how O threw the ball? No offense to the gals, but he throws like one. No one, but a Harvard educated weenie or a tie-dyed Lib would think he deserves respect. The pointey-headed ones spent too much time smoking dope and not enough time in the real world.
Regardless of his feelings and frustration, you don’t go public and you don’t tangle with the President, who is the Commander-in-Chief and, ultimately, your boss.
Not having served but having almost gone in twice I understand this Ziet.
Chain O’ Command.
Without it no military or goverment operates. If you have a critque of your boss or disagrement you take it up in private quarters. If you have a good leader he listen but that doesn’t mean his orders will change. Command is a mask and the subordinate is not usually privy to all information and in fact… The commander might not be privy to all the information as well but you have your orders…
It is exactly because of a lone wolf attitude that most Spec Ops guys don’t rise very high. Warriors do well on the battlefield but not in the political arena. Our man Cunnigham was just that type of guy too. Revered for his warrior skills in the air but on the ground most ppl around Mira Mar hated his guts.

Military dictatorships happen when the generals refuse to submit to civilian command. Think banana republics.
