Fortunately, though, this is a free country, and no one necessarily dictates what someone can/can’t drive. I’ll stick to the twin turbo v6 and v8’s, thank you very much…[/quote]At least you buy and drive your cars for performance and the fun of driving.
What’s fun about driving a huge SUV gas guzzler that drives like a land-yacht?
Yeah, it’s a free country. I personally think it’s idiotic to drive a big SUV around, all alone, burning all that gas. The money could be put to better use. Those drivers should not be complaining about not being to make ends meet while waiting in line at Costco.

March 21, 2011 at 1:45 PM #679138sdrealtorParticipantI was always under the impression that arco sells lower octane gas with cheaper additives. My cars have always run worse when I used their gas. Also they dont take credit cards which is how I track my gas usage.

March 21, 2011 at 2:02 PM #679151ninaprincessParticipantMost gas in California comes from the same regional terminal. I know a corner in OC where the same gas delivery truck stops at ARCO and then Shell.
Credit card companies charges about 2 to 3%. By not using credit card, Arco saves about $0.10 a gallon right there.
