Hey Bob,
Thanks for the kudos- but I don’t see it as bravery. I’ve been in business 8 years, and have well over 10K units in San Diego alone- why sell something that you have to run and hide from?
But back to the problem- rusted magnets. Do you have a ClearView with rusted magnets? If so- they are under warranty- call the office, and we can ship some out to you no charge. 760-871-0137. It is rare, but it does happen occasionally- don’t know if you’re on or by the water.
I did a lookup and this year we have sent out about 20 magnets for warranty replacement. Keep in mind- thats less than .02%.
If its a pain for you- we can outfit your doors with internal magnets, although that is usually an upgrade best done at the time of purchase.
Let me know what we can do.
