Sorry, not interested. I’ve got 50 lifegiving gallons of my own, and I cannot imagine buying gold for more than $1,500/oz in December 2009. By the way, what special meaning does the date December 1, 2009 hold for you? I’m sure nothing in my original post could give you the impression that this country would run out of water or that gold would hit $5,000 in the next 9 months…? I believe we will experience food shortages before water shortages, and $5000 is probably 3 years away.[/quote]

If we get the big one (earthquake) in California, does that speed up the Mad Max melt down or will it focus energy away from the economy and actually work as a stimulus program? This would be similar to what WWII did for the U.S. to get us out of the depression and put lots of people to work killing Germans and Japanese.
