Thanks Everybody. Yes, Lasik was not what I hoped for…I figured since it was around 10+ years, the kinks were worked out. I had to get a touch up procedure done on one eye, and it is that same eye that is getting worse. I paid the big bucks for the specialist, rather than the eye banks, and so I had hoped for a longer lasting result. Oh well. I will try Sunglass Warehouse and also look on Ebay. Thanks much for the recommendations.

I literally couldn’t see anything more than about 2 feet away. I wore contacts for years and my eyes were always red and itchy. Glasses gave me headaches. Lasik has been great. No problems. Still 20/20 after all these years without any touchups.

Most fruits and vegetables with dark pigment (goji berry, blueberries, kale) are touted as “superfoods” as they have a high concentration of antioxidants which help scavenge free radicals in the body (reduce risk of cancer). They also help promote healthy ocular metabolism and reduce the risk of macular degeneration (leading cause of blindness in people over 55 in the US).
