BG, i welcome all immigrants foreign and domestic. When they move to blue states or even progressives enclaves such as Austin, they agree to the new terms conditions of their residences. They are the smart, redeemable deplorables.
We need more residents so we can built economically and culturally progressive dynamic cities. The engines of commerce.
As a resident of Vegas, I don’t mind doubling the population to 5 million in Clark County within my lifetime. We can build high rises to provide residents with a high gloss urban experience with some elevated trains zipping around. You know Trump will make it payoff for Sheldon Adelson, Phil Ruffin and his casino buddies with some infrastructure spending. Trump’s casino buddies may be able to bring home the bacon better than Harry Reid.
November 14, 2016 at 1:27 PM #803647spdrunParticipantWhat does Vegas actually have that would recommend it to five million people? Entertainment and gambling can be had in a hundred other places these days.
November 14, 2016 at 1:50 PM #803648FlyerInHiGuestWhy is Dubai attractive? Lots of people hate it but success speaks for itself
Doesn’t matter what you like. It matter what the market demands
45 millions visitors come to Vegas every year. Direct flights to all over the world — Norwegian, Condor, Hainan airlines to name a few new entrants. There were anti trump protests on Saturday night. I came down to the strip to join them. Mostly young people in their 20s. The deplorables in NV are in cities like Parump, Elko or whatever
Like florida. we have lots of retirees who a republicans, but their millennial grandkids will get through to them or not visit them.

(Could Clark County’s votes leaning 10.4% blue be due in part to illegal immigrants voting??) Not saying that is the reason Clark County is now blue but just throwing that out here based upon what I saw in the street the weekend before last, lol …
Clinton won Washoe County (County seat: Reno) by just 1.2%. Trump won your state capitol, Carson City, by a landslide (as he did adjacent El Dorado County, CA).

The rest of your state is all comprised of deplorables and irredeemables living amongst the (rare) fauna hardy enough to survive the inhospitable (where the flora isn’t so fortunate). Trust me, FIH, I know :=0 I’ve driven thru nearly every foot of your fair state, several times … that is, the parts which actually have roads. I wouldn’t recommend going “off-roading” in rural NV (the vast majority of the state, btw). One could get machine guns or cannons pointed at them if they accidentally set foot on the “wrong soil” … or sand/gravel/aggregate, or whatever you want to call it.
November 14, 2016 at 2:54 PM #803653FlyerInHiGuestI agree, BG. The flyover parts of NV are dangerous for liberal elitists like myself. I have no interest in going.
Reno is turning even more blue with Tesla and Apple setting up shop. There is a
housing shortage and mutiple bids on new listing, so reported a friend who invests up there. The guy is a liberal former hippie who lives in an off grid house. His son ans daughter-in law-are elitist architects in LA. They don’t have clients who like overstuffed furniture favored by deplorables.I still wonder how Trump will repay Phil Ruffin and Sheldon Aldelaon for their early support. Steve Wynn is also a New Yorker and friend of Trump’s. Of course, we also have Kirk kerkorian and Carl Icahn
PS. I didn’t bother to look up the blue percentage of Reno vs Washoe county. Maybe you can tell me

I have no interest in going….
I was being facetious but NOT referring to Deplorables when I suggested off-roading was not a good idea in rural NV. I was referring to the multiple gubment-controlled “test sites” situated in the vast wasteland we call Nevada. Often the chain-link fencing is few and far between (with “Warning,” “Danger,” “US Government Property,” and “No Trespassing” signs posted on it). The few entrances are often gravel roads with human armed guards where only gubment licensed vehicles carrying certain (properly-badged) gubment and contractor personnel are allowed in. Period.
November 14, 2016 at 7:44 PM #803664FlyerInHiGuestCan we build a nuclear waste site next to Cliven Bundy’s ranch.
November 14, 2016 at 8:25 PM #803665FlyerInHiGuestSo Hillary Clinton easily won Dallas County.
Any city that has good jobs and cosmopolitan is blue.http://results.enr.clarityelections.com/TX/Dallas/63891/182536/Web01/en/summary.html

Asking his supporters to stop it…excellent!
He’s “fine” with same-sex marriage.
He’s gonna ask Comey to explain himself.
And he’d prefer popular vote to the Electoral College:These are all statements he apparently made this weekend…
This man may have some major integrity after all…perhaps the months leading up to the election were just peacocking…
let’s give the man a chance…
“He was lying all along, therefore he has major integrity!”
Just when you think the mental gymnastics could not get more contorted…
Hmmm. I see your point. Should have left out the word “major”.

A good female would have won. It just means he gave up trying to find equality in a personal relationship with women and took candy that he could afford instead. Given that men are behind in the battle of the sexes, that’s not really all that dumb.
Makes sense that men like Trump. He has what they want. They are hoping for some trickle down. Assuming that Melania is a 9.5 or 10, don’t Trump supporters who go to bed with 5s feel more than a little depressed? Apparently not.
Trump male supporters feel that democrats act elitist and intellectually superior. But Trump acts superior in the sex department. He clearly says “I don’t think so; I don’t think so” to the types of women his supporters actually have sex with. But his supporters don’t feel any condescension.
I was talking to some women about Trump.
I talked to cleaning ladies in the elevators and all say “el Trump es no bueno”
All the educated women i know or meet hate Trump. Attractive women hate Trump. The only women who support Trump are plain, chubby women. 6 or below, I would say
as evidences by the women we saw at Trump rallies. I wonder what attracts them to Trump.November 16, 2016 at 9:15 AM #803734livinincaliParticipant
Looks like our resident democratic shill has moved from the denial stage to the anger stage of the results of this election. I couldn’t even imagine how bad the reaction to this hate filled rant would be if things were reversed.

No anger. Just putting it in context and trying to understand psychology.
Trump brought freedom and enabled popular language, so might as well take advantage and say it like it is.
If i said “i wouldn’t eat fried chicken or hot dog. It’s unhealthy” that would be elitist and condescending. If I say “look at your women, I don’t think so” that’s admirable.

I was wrong about the women vote.
They voted for their own husbands. females are very loyal creatures that why they are very reluctant to press charges in domestic abuse cases
